Scholarship Description: The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has the following vacancy PhD student “Definition and control of future, modular road transport vehicles’’ at the section Dynamics and Control, Department of Mechanical Engineering. In the section Dynamics and Control of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, research is focused on the sub-areas nonlinear dynamics, acoustics and noise control, nonlinear control and robotics, structural optimization and vehicle dynamics. The present vacancy plays a key role within the sub-area on vehicle dynamics and control. Besides contributing to the teaching of the master curricula in Mechanical Engineering, also research in the broad area of vehicle dynamics and (nonlinear) control is envisioned.
